Driving School

For beginners our facility is perfectly suited, because we offer special beginner's courses on the calm castle lake and short ways back to the starting ramp. If you wish, you can start as a beginner during regular opening hours as well.

Wakeboard beginner's training

Between July 12, 2025 (Saturday) and August 23, 2025 (Saturday) we offer wakeboarding lessons every second Saturday from 8:45 am to 10:45 am. Our experienced coaches teach beginners the theory and practical basics in a 2-hour wakeboarding course. The number of participants is limited to 15 so that each participant can be given sufficient time.

Please register at least 48 hours before the next course date. Participants are requested to arrive at the course site 30 minutes before the course starts.

The price includes training fees and all materials.

Waterski training with WSV Nordlippe-Kalletal

The WSV Nordlippe-Kalletal was founded in 1979.

Since then, the traditional club has made a name for itself both nationally and internationally. WSV has hosted German and European championships several times – and has produced numerous German, European, and even world champions throughout its history.

At the helm of the club is Marc-André Meier, multiple European slalom champion and first chairman. His wife, Juliya Meier, is a multiple world champion and currently serves as national coach for the German Waterski and Wakeboard Association (DWWV) and is a dedicated talent promoter. Helge Schermer is the reigning German slalom champion. His personal best is a strong two buoys on the 10.75 m line. Finn-Maximilian Meier competed in the World Championships last year. He is a member of the winning team, and the German team became world champions for the first time. With a best distance of 55.5 m, Finn took 6th place. As a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Sports Association, the WSV places great emphasis on promoting young talent.

Therefore, experienced club members accompany the waterski courses for young and old, which will be offered in summer 2025 together with the waterski facility and the Kalletal camping park.
