For beginners our facility is perfectly suited, because we offer special beginner's courses on the calm castle lake and short ways back to the starting ramp. If you wish, you can start as a beginner during regular opening hours as well.

Wakeboard beginner's training
Between July 04, 2025 (Saturday) and August 29, 2026 (Saturday) we offer wakeboarding lessons every second Saturday from 8:45 am to 10:45 am. Our experienced coaches teach beginners the theory and practical basics in a 2-hour wakeboarding course. The number of participants is limited to 15 so that each participant can be given sufficient time.
Please register at least 48 hours before the next course date. Participants are requested to arrive at the course site 30 minutes before the course starts.
The price includes training fees and all materials.

Waterski training with WSV Nordlippe-Kalletal
The WSV Nordlippe-Kalletal was founded in 1979.
Since then, the long-established club has made a name for itself both nationally and internationally. The WSV has hosted German and European Championships on several occasions – and has produced numerous German, European, and even World Champions throughout its history.
The club is headed by Marc-André Meier, multiple European slalom champion and chairman. His wife, Juliya Meier, is a multiple world champion and actively involved in developing young talent.
Helge Schermer defended his German slalom championship title in 2025, confirming his excellent form. His personal best is a strong 2 buoys on the 10.75m line.
Finn-Maximilian Meier secured the German Championship title at the German Championships at Alfsee with a new hill record of 61.6 m.
The most significant success of the year, however, came at the European Championships in Beckum. Here, Finn-Maximilian Meier made club history: gold in show jumping and thus his first European Championship title.
As a member of the State Sports Federation of North Rhine-Westphalia, the WSV places great emphasis on promoting young talent.
Therefore, experienced club members will accompany the water skiing courses for young and old, which will be offered in the summer of 2026 together with the water skiing facility and the Kalletal camping park.
